These are the terms you are agreeing to when you use our products or visit our websites, written in plain English.
These terms cover our direct-to-consumer products only. Business-to-business (B2B) engagements are governed by their own Master Services Agreements and/or Statement(s) of Work; these terms may not apply to them.
So How Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore.
When this page says "we" or "So How", that's who we mean. When it says "you", we mean you — the person using our products.
By creating an account, purchasing a product, visiting our websites, or otherwise using our products, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you don't agree, please don't use our products. If you stop agreeing later, stop using them and write to us — we'll help you close your account and allow you to take your data with you before we delete it.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy anything from us. Singapore's age of contractual capacity is 18; below that age, we cannot lawfully contract with you.
Our consumer products fall into four categories. We add, retire, and rename specific products from time to time — naming the categories rather than every item is how this document stays current.
When we add, change, or retire products, we will tell active subscribers before changing or ending anything they're currently paying for.
You sign in with Google or Apple. We don't store passwords — your sign-in identity is held by Google or Apple, and we only see an authentication token.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in account secure. Don't share it. If you think someone else has accessed your account, write to contact@sohow.sg straight away.
You may use a display name (including a pseudonym) inside the product, but you must give a real email address that you control.
Seanish is an AI chatbot trained in our frameworks. It uses what you've shared in our products to help you reflect, in the language and style of So How.
Seanish is not a coach, therapist, counsellor, or adviser. We do not describe what Seanish does as "coaching." Coaching at So How is delivered by humans — by Sean Worrall, or by another named human coach — and is sold as Personal Coaching Sessions. Seanish supports your reflective work between or alongside human coaching, or independently if coaching isn't part of your plan; it does not replace it, and we do not promote it as if it does.
All consumer prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated. So How is currently not GST-registered (we're below the SGD 1M threshold), so prices are GST-free. We'll notify customers in advance if and when GST registration becomes required.
Payments are processed by PCI-DSS-compliant payment services. We never see or store your full card number — that's handled directly by the payment processor.
Subscription products renew at the interval shown at checkout (typically monthly) until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account settings or by emailing contact@sohow.sg. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Because all our products are digital or delivered as services, there's no physical shipping. No addresses, no fees, no parcels.
| Product type | How it's delivered | When |
|---|---|---|
| Tools & Assessments (e.g. 12Tones, 24Six, Big5 Aspects) | In-app access plus emailed summary | Immediately on payment confirmation |
| One-off Programmes and Reports (e.g. Untangle symbolic lens report) | Email plus in-app access | Within 5 business days of payment — usually immediate; longer where custom production is involved |
| Subscriptions (e.g. 12Tones, Daily Nudge) | In-app access plus notifications | Immediately on first payment |
| Personal Coaching Sessions | Booking access by email or online calendar; sessions scheduled at mutually agreed times | Booking link within 1 business day of payment (usually immediate) |
If you haven't received a digital product in the timeframe above, email contact@sohow.sg and we'll sort it.
If something we sold you genuinely doesn't deliver what we said it would, write to us and we'll sort it. We'd rather refund a fair complaint than keep a frustrated customer. The specifics below are how we apply that principle in practice.
You can request a full refund for a Tool, Assessment, Programme, or Report within 7 days of purchase, on one condition:
For example:
We err on the side of being generous. If you bought something and it genuinely isn't right for you, write in and we'll have a look.
After 7 days, one-off purchases are non-refundable except as required by law.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing contact@sohow.sg. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access for what you've already paid for.
We do not refund partial subscription periods you've already had access to.
Accidental renewal. If you forgot to cancel before a subscription auto-renewed, contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge and we will refund it in full — provided you have not used the product since the renewal date. This applies once per customer per subscription product.
Product unavailability. If a product is unavailable for a substantial portion of a billing period due to our fault (not third-party outages outside our reasonable control), we'll issue a pro-rata refund or service credit.
Personal Coaching Sessions are delivered by Sean (or another named human coach) face-to-face, by video, or by phone.
Email contact@sohow.sg with:
We respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via your original payment method and typically appear on your statement within a further 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank.
This section is in addition to, not in place of, the rights you have under Singapore consumer protection law (including the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act) — and, if you are in the EU or UK, under applicable consumer protection legislation. Nothing here reduces those statutory rights.
Don't use our products to:
We can suspend or terminate access if you do any of these. Where you've done something genuinely abusive or illegal, we'll cooperate with the relevant authorities.
Our frameworks, written content, software, brand marks, designs, and AI chatbot outputs are owned by So How Pte Ltd or licensed to us, and protected under the Singapore Copyright Act 2021. When you buy a product, you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use it — you don't acquire any ownership rights.
The full rules on what you can and can't do with our work — including paid products, free tools, attribution, AI training, and how we handle infringement — are set out in our IP Policy.
You retain ownership of the content you create inside our products — your journal entries, your responses, your goals, your reflections. By using our products, you grant us a licence to store, process, and display that content as needed to deliver them to you. We do not use your content to train any AI model — ours or anyone else's.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve our products without obligation or compensation. We'll never publish anything that identifies you without asking first.
We are coaches and educators. We are not therapists. We are not psychiatrists. We are not medical professionals. We do not diagnose anything. The frameworks we use (Untangle, P.E.R.K.Y, 12Tones, etc.) are reflective tools — they can help you understand yourself better, but they are not a substitute for clinical care.
Seanish is an AI chatbot. It supports reflection. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, therapy, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need clinical support, please reach out to someone qualified in that field.
The Untangle framework draws on symbolic archetypes. We use these as reflective lenses for exercises in active imagination and self-understanding, not as predictive or diagnostic tools.
Our products are provided "as is" and "as available". We make reasonable efforts to keep them running, accurate, and useful, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or any particular outcome from using them.
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that can't lawfully be limited (for example, liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless So How and its officers, directors, employees, and associates from any claim, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:
You can close your account at any time by emailing contact@sohow.sg. On closure, we delete your profile and session data within 30 days unless you ask us to do it immediately. Invoice records are retained for the legally required period.
We can suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Where the breach is serious or repeated, we may do so without notice. Where it's not, we'll usually flag it first and give you a chance to fix it. If we end a product entirely, we'll give reasonable notice and, where applicable, refund unused subscription periods.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law — continue to apply after the account ends.
We may update these Terms. For material changes (anything affecting price, refund rights, scope of our products, or your rights), we'll email active customers at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use our products after the change means you accept the new Terms; if you don't, you can close your account before the change applies.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our products is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Before going to court, please write to us at contact@sohow.sg. Most things can be sorted in a conversation. We will do our part in good faith and we ask the same of you.
For consumer disputes, you may also refer the matter to the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) or the Small Claims Tribunals, where eligible.
For anything to do with these Terms or our products, write to contact@sohow.sg. One address — we route it internally so you don't have to.
